A lot of people ask me that.  Certainly, mediumship is a "psychic" ability.  But I feel the descriptor "psychic" has a lot of negative connotations.  For me, it brings up visions of fortune tellers with crystal balls.  It's just not me, and I don't call myself a "psychic."

But it's more than that.  I have colleagues, and I know peolpe, who claim the title of "psychic" and offer to give clients a glimpse into the future.  For me, I beleive that we all have free will which can change the course of our lives, and the lives of those around us, in an instant.  I can get a sense of what is possible for you at this moment, given the present set of circumstances at this moment.  And that may be exactly how your path unfolds.  But in the next moment, you may make a choice that changes the circumstances and thus changes the outcome.  Or someone else may change it through their choices.  Or something happens - an illness or an accident, for example - that changes your path.  Dramatic events like the 2011 earthquakes and tsunami in Japan can change the lives of millions of people in one instant, and what might have been possible a moment ago is not possible now.

We leave Spirit to come to "Earth School," where we have charted a path that includes many opportunities to learn.  And if you don't learn the lesson the first time, you needn't worry - the Universe will give you as many opportunities to learn it as you need.  Grab each day with enthusiasm and optimism, and create your possibilities, instead of fulfilling a "psychic" prediction.

That's what I think about the whole thing...
